At River Lake Church, we believe everyone is called to be a leader and to serve others. Whether someone is leading themselves, a team, in their family, or at work - leadership skills are valuable tools in making a difference. The Jan Hoover Scholarship was created to recognize the service and leadership of Jan Hoover and, in turn, provide individuals an opportunity to further their post-secondary education. In order to apply for this scholarship, the candidate must:

• Have been accepted into, or be, a current, full-time undergraduate or post-secondary student currently attending an accredited college or educational institution within the United States. 

• Have a high school grade point average of 2.5 or better (on a 4.0 scale).

• Have a college GPA average of 2.5 or better (on a 4.0 scale) if awarded to an existing college student (must be enrolled at least halftime).
