When you're tired, a good night's sleep is worth everything. Our area schools get constant requests for something most of us take for granted: a bed. Children in our community regularly sleep on the floor, share a mattress on the ground, sleep in the bed with their parents, or spend their nights on the couch. Learning and concentration are difficult when you can't sleep well.
On April 15th, at 9 AM River Lake Church will be joining with Build-A-Bed Barren County and other area organizations at Caverna Elementary School to build beds and provide bedding for area children. You can help by:
- Building (show up to build beds and assemble "Bedtime Baskets")
- Buying (buy supplies for the "Bedtime Baskets" from their Amazon Wishlist)
- Bringing (bring your power tools with you or help bring the beds to the homes once complete)
