Our staff at River Lake is devoted to making sure your experience is the best it could possibly be from the moment you walk in the door.
Nic was born and raised in the Peoria, IL area where he began his 10 year career in Student Ministry. After serving churches in Illinois, Michigan and Kansas, Nic and his wife, Lisa, felt a calling to the Glasgow KY area.
Nic loves communicating and focuses on speaking the truth with a practical and down to earth approach. His unique teaching style includes real-life illustrations and humor. The heart of Nic’s vision is to make it easy for people to find and follow God by reaching people that have “given up” or never “given a thought” to church.
Nic and Lisa have been married for 14 years and have five children - Nicolas (12), Kate (11), Claire (7), Emma (3) and Josiah (6 months).
Robin and her husband, Robbie, have called Glasgow home since 2006. Married in 1997, they have two daughters - Bailey and Ashton.
Robin is always excited about each week's opportunity to help create the best worship experience from start to finish for everyone who walks through our doors and to help make it easy for everyone to find and follow Jesus.
Born in Allen County. Jim and his wife, Sherry, have made Allen and Barren counties their home for most of their years together. They have three children and three grandsons who love spending time with Jim and Sherry. Following a 42 year career with RR Donnelley, Jim now farms, spends time with family, and volunteers with River Lake Church.
Jim has been with River Lake Church since the beginning and is most thankful for the opportunity he was given, as a non-Christian, to be in a comfortable and non-pressured environment to learn about God, salvation and himself. He believes serving as a volunteer has given him a way to repay a very small portion toward the debt he owes Jesus and River Lake Church.
Emily is a native of Barren County and currently lives in Glasgow with her husband Nick and 3 year old daughter Addison.
Emily has a true passion for kids and each week she looks forward to leading our kids ministry by "connecting kids to Jesus in a way they understand."
Joe Dean Jr, was born and raised in Glasgow. He and Debbie Smith Dean have been married 35 years and have one son, Trey. Joe has been employed at RRDonnelley for the last 45 years and started attending RLC in the Fall, 2014 due to the relentless efforts of several fellow RRD coworkers. He enjoys fixing things, boating and motorcycles and now fixes things at RLC on a weekly basis!
Jason has loved music all his life. He grew up singing and playing old gospel hymns in a small country church in Green County where he lived. He was a member of several rock bands in his 20's and now leads worship for River Lake Church. Not only does he perform, Jason also writes music and debuted an original composition, Act of Love, at River Lake Church in April, 2014. Jason is looking forward to building a worship band for River Lake in the coming months.
When not working as a Sales Consultant at Goodman Chevrolet, Jason and his wife, Cassy, love spending as much time as they can with their three year old son, Jude, and six months old son, Finn.
Pat and her husband, Stan, have lived in Glasgow since 1976 and have two sons who live in Tennessee and Hawaii. Pat has worked in the Human Resources department at RR Donnelley for 40 years.
She and Stan were among the founding members of River Lake Church and has a passion for serving and making guests feel welcome. Pat loves being "Mimi" to her two grandchildren. Her hobbies include reading, gardening and needlework.
Jan and her husband, Frank, are from the Glasgow area and have lived here most of their lives - other than a 10 year assignment in Chicago.
Jan sees her role as Executive Director much like a "traffic cop" and helping make sure others have what they need to do their jobs with as few distractions as possible. She loves being able to resolve an issue before it becomes a problem! When she is not focused on River Lake Church, she loves to read, quilt, and head to Canada to see her son and his children.
